How to save money with 40k

Let's face it, not all of us have an unlimited budget when it comes to the hobby. I can't think of anything better than finding ways to save money and still get the results you want.

So when Pathfinder suggested this topic for the FTW Group, I was happy to use it. If you have a money saving tip, please leave a comment and let everyone know about it.
Here are a few ideas and tips to help you save money:

Some other tips from FTW Bloggers:
+ Plastic Signs like "For Sale" are a great source of cheap plasticard.
+ CD's + Plastic Plants (From Craft stores) make great terrain.
+ If basing lots of terrain Home Depot/Lowes/DIY can color match anything. While they are not great for painting our little "toys" it works great for basing and is tons cheaper.
+ The most helpful thing I've found to save money has been tracking my spending. I make a note of every model, pot of paint, and tool I buy each month so I can see exactly what I bought and how much I paid.
