Raven Guard Terminator Librarian now painted

I built this model a while ago for a client and he had it shipped off to Thomas Schadle to have it painted. Came back looking great.
It's kinda neat to see something you built painted up by another person. Like a comic book where one artist pencils out the image and another inks and colors it in.

Whether you get one person to build and paint a model for you or two, if you do your homework, the end result is a model that looks spectacular on the battlefield. I'm just glad I was given the opportunity to be a part of this project.

  1. Looks like you both did very good work on your respective parts of the project. A very pleased client I bet? :)

  2. Don't get me wrong, love the model and most of the paint work. i just have to say 1 thing. The way he painted the face makes it look kinda... Wrong to me and i think the hand could do with more bits of lightning. they are only the bad bit though. Other that that it's great.

  3. I don't think watching Harry Potter will ever be the same now.

  4. Ron, your painting has greatly improved over the course of the year I have been reading you. This is your best model to date I would say, although I still love your spacehulk deathwing a lot.
Keep it going. Oh, you should get that Forgeworld modeling book. I think you would get a kick out of it.

  5. That turned out awesome. So smooth

  6. WOW! That is excellent all around.

  7. Wow, really nice work. It's clean except where it is supposed to look dirty... excellent.
